What a Life

Daisy and I were all happy last week cause Daddy was on vacation. That meant lots of lap time. I sat in the chair with him all day and night when he played poker on the computer. Even Daisy joined us. Of course that made it a little crowded.

But it is too hot outside and the grass is too high. Daisy doesn't even want to walk in the grass. Why won't anyone come mow it? Daisy would rather walk down the street and do her business in the street than walk around our place. Me I just go out long enough to do what I gotta do and go back inside. And don't even let me near that pit bull. She always tries to take over our spots. Grrr.

But Daddy went back to work and now I have go back to being in my chair or begging Mom to pick me up so that I can sit with her. And why does Daisy always have to hog the chair with Mom? Every time I get in the chair with Mom Daisy has to jump up and sit on the arm of the chair or get a higher spot than me. I just like to sit by Mom while she drinks her coffee in the morning. I think Daisy has dominance issues since she always has to try to get higher than me. Of course Mom won't let her stay that way.

Uh, Mom, why is Daisy sitting on the stairs? She already went outside. Nah,nah Daisy, should have done your business when you had the chance.
