Daisy and Jan and Wine

Last week Mom and Dad had a visitor. Jan is one of Dad's online poker friends. She lives near Washington DC. She came down for a few days. Well, Daisy, being Daisy, sucked up to Jan. It seems they have something in common. They both like wine. Me, I don't care for it. Whenever Jan would sit down with a glass of wine, there was Daisy. Jan would pet and hug her. Yeah that was nice, but Daisy had her own agenda. Wine! Daisy loves wine. That's why Mom does not leave her wine glass anywhere unguarded. I don't know how many times Mom has left her glass on the end table only to find Daisy slurping up the wine. Of course Daisy always looks so innocent. Jan soon discovered that she had to be on guard too. Daisy kept trying to sneek her nose under Jan's hand to get to the wine. It didn't take long for Jan to figure out what Daisy wanted. Daisy would look at Jan with those big brown eyes...sigh. At least I can take comfort in the fact that Daisy did not get any. Jan outsmarted her. I think Daisy is a lush at heart. Not me, that wine would put me to sleep...snore- Lady.
