What's Up?

Any body notice that it is hot outside? Lady and I are still fighting to get through the green stuff in the yard. I refuse to do my business there anymore. Too many itches. Mom can't wait till that stuff stops growing since they don't mow very much.

Lady has decided that she has to sit with Mom all the time now. What's up with that? And why does she stare at her all the time. I like to have my head scratched too. Lady sits next to Mom and just stares and stares...It is a little creepy. I wonder what she is trying to say.

Mom said that we are going to have company this week-end. Annie and Jason and their two boys will be here. Too bad Mom moved the tree in the living room. We had fun chasing those boys around and around the room. That fish tank has taken over the room. Of course I like to climb into the chair and watch the fish swim around. How come I can't catch them?

After Annie and her family leave we will later have a visit from Mom and Dad's friend Jan. They said something about going to the Houston Texans football game...Just make sure, Jan, that you keep your glass of wine close to me. Yum! What did you say, Mom? What do you mean bath? Friday, Lady and I are getting a bath? Nuts!

Uh, Mom? Do we really have to go out?

Daisy, keep quiet. If we just lay here in the chairs under the blankets maybe she won't notice. It is supposed to be a storm out there. I know I don't want to go out. On the other hand, I really gotta go.

I just hope that all the other animals are safe and dry.

Daisy, you need to go sit in that chair in the corner and watch the fish that Daddy bought. Think you can catch them?

I'm going back to sleep.
