Phooey

Lady and I are insulted. Annie had thought of having Thanksgiving at her house. They just bought a house and thought it would be nice to get everybody together. But we were not included. It seems that Jason does not want us in the house. Even Bella, Amanda's little one is not happy. We are good dogs and we do not tear up the house. But Jason will not allow us in his house. He doesnot like dogs inside. Well we say, why doesn't he try living outside all the time. So we won't be going to their house for Thanksgiving or any other time. Mom and Dad don't like to travel any way. They won't leave us with strangers either. Phooey.

Is It Raining Again?

Mom took Lady and me out earlier this morning. Now I know why. It rained again. And the electricity went off again, but not for long. I really don't like that after that hurricane. It really scared me. All night long, all that noise and rain. I don't think Lady and I will ever forget all that. At least we did not lose our home.

Did you know that a lot of people had to leave their homes around Galveston and east and southeast of Houston? Even though the people were told pets would be allowed to go with them if people had to evacuate. But some people still left them or stayed behind with their pets. The SPCA got together with some animal foster parents for stranded pets. Some were even sent to other states and towns. I hope they make it back to their families. Mom said that some of the pets have been abandoned or not picked up. So now these wonderful loving pets are looking for new homes. Lady and I hope that our human friends will help our animal friends out. We all need love and good homes.
