Lucy, You've Got Some Splaining To Do

Lucy, Lucy, Lucy...didn't your mom notice the hole you dug? Lady and I sure did. You dug a hole right there next to your front door. And by the way would you please not knock us over when you race by! I'm tough but Lady is old and not happy when you do that. I heard your mom is not happy cause you have chewed through three leashes. Really? Why? Are those kids driving you nuts? We can certainly understand cause those kids drive Mom nuts when they are making all that noise on the patio. Come to think of it, so do you!

Tell your mom to get you more exercise. Mom says your mom needs to watch the "Dog Whisperer". She says she learned a lot from him. Maybe it would help you too. Hey quit your yelping! We're just trying to help!

So sad...

We were excited to learn of Amanda's puppy Rebel. But we will never get to meet him. Amanda adopted him from the ASPCA here in Houston when he was 8 weeks old. But Amanda soon discovered there was something very wrong. Poor little guy had to go to the vet because of some problems in his brain. Something was wrong with the fluid in the brain and spine. He would shake his head and cry. The vet examined him and said it was very bad and that he would have to have expensive surgery which would not even give him a good quality of life. So sadly the doctor had to put little Rebel to sleep. Poor little guy, we never got to meet him. He's in puppy heaven now. Bella is sad too. But the doctor said it was better cause he would not be in any more pain.We'll miss you Rebel.
